The Autumn/Winter 2022 TOM TAILOR Denim collection once again presents a small, independent collection with a young, fashionably sophisticated orientation.

Soft PU material with a “washed shrunken leather” look – remarkable similar to real leather – and very soft nubuck PU form the basis of the collection. Clear, clean groups skilfully contrast with more voluminous styles with drawstring details and padded styles in super-soft nappa-like PU leather. During the development of the collection, special attention was paid to creating a harmony between wintery-looking materials and materials that clearly reflect current trends. Material combinations such as corduroy-like, nubuck PU or teddy fake fur in combination with nubuck and structured PU leather, make up the trend segment of the collection and are complemented by a casual segment in nylon or coated nylon. Embossed PU, which at first glance looks just like canvas, is the winter successor to a canvas concept developed in the Spring/Summer 22 collection.

Along with the new, clean shapes, important design details such as pleats and gathers – occasionally used as drawstrings – also feature on the variously aligned groups and particularly accentuate the extremely soft materials. The DTT statement piece has been strengthened with the addition of two new shapes – a backpack and a flat zip tote in soft, padded PU leather in which the diagonal all-over embroidery also clearly highlights the new Denim TOM TAILOR logo. From small cross-bags through medium-sized shoppers to soft, large-format sports bags – the statements of this collection are rounded off in a wide colour spectrum of black and khaki, supported by bold orange as a trend colour, as well as classic taupe and metallic bronze.
