Beheim International Brands – success goes on

Beheim International Brands, Obertshausen - one of the leading companies in the leather goods sector - holding bags licence collections of camel active bags, GABOR bags and TOM TAILOR bags - records a highly positive turnover development in 2013.

Over all brands turnover 2013 has been increased by around 20%, stated Michael Beheim, Managing Director Beheim International Brands. With an outstanding performance of around 50% plus TOM TAILOR bags continues on a high level base, followed by GABOR bags with a plus of around 24%.

This highly positive development results in the outstanding performance of all three brands in the market.

Christine Beheim, Managing Director, and her creative team develop products with passion for details, highly appreciated by retailers. Extraordinary POS results lead to an increase of market shares for all brands. The collection process reflects given market trends by offering additional flash ranges to excite the consumer.

In 2013, BIB focuses on restructuring processes, new technology, such as investments in showrooms, to enable faster reactions on market demands:

  • Extending storage capacity by around 2,000 sq.m. to improve logistics
  • Increasing the BIB Team especially in sales and logistics
  • Extending field staff in Scandinavia, Poland, France and Belgium/Netherlands

On top of this, the successful start of the retail department, managed by Yvonne Clauss, required an increase of the retail team members. In 2013, 270 new customers had been convinced to work with BIB’s retail concept.

Beheim International Brands has established itself in the branch as a reliable partner for the trade, focusing long-term cooperation. The story of success gained back former customers and convinced new customers.

Beheim International Brands – well established company in 3rd generation - will celebrate its 65th business jubilee this September 2014.
